Masha K. Bach, Attorney
Attorney MASHA BACH focuses her practice on business litigation,
commercial litigation, estate litigation, business transactions, corporate law,
intellectual property law and international commerce. Ms. Bach has been a
litigator in state and federal courts since 1997, including state Superior
Courts, Circuit, County and District Courts of Appeal, the Federal District Court
for the Southern District of Florida and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. She
has been a transactional business lawyer since 1998.
Education & Honors
Attorney MASHA BACH received her bachelor’s degree in International Relations,
cum laude, from the University of Southern California in 1993, and her Juris
Doctor degree in 1997, summa cum laude, from Whittier Law School in California. She graduated first in her law school class.
Ms. Bach served as member and senior editor on the Law Review and was awarded
the dean’s merit and academic excellence scholarships. She received six American
Jurisprudence awards for highest achievement in Civil Procedure, Constitutional
Law, Real Property, Entertainment Law, Professional Responsibility and Ethics.
She also received the CALI Excellence For The Future award for highest
achievement in the study of Legal Analysis.
Ms. Bach was honored by the Southern California Defense Counsel with an
Outstanding Academic Achievement award presented to Ms. Bach by former British
Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. She was likewise recipient of the W.W. Manuel
Award for Pro Bono Legal Services from the State Bar of California.
Attorney MASHA BACH attained the highest score on the Florida Bar examination in
winter of 2000 and delivered an honorary speech on behalf of newly admitted
attorneys at the Third District Court of Appeal induction ceremony.
Ms. Bach is admitted to practice in California (1998), Washington, D.C. (1999)
and Florida (2000).
Ms. Bach is fluent in Russian and in Hebrew.
Experience
Ms. Bach began her legal career in 1997 as a litigator at a premier labor &
employment Watergate firm in Washington, D.C. Prior to establishing her private
practice, Ms. Bach was associated with two of Florida’s largest and
most distinguished firms, Akerman Senterfit and Gunster Yoakley, where she
received superior training in complex corporate and commercial litigation. In
2002 she formed the Law Offices of Masha K. Bach, P.A. and remains the managing
partner of the Florida office. In 2010 the firm opened its Beverly Hills,
California, office. Today, the firm’s clients range from private individuals to
national and international corporations. Ms. Bach acts as legal consultant to
several U.S. and foreign corporations and serves as counsel to a number of
community civic and charitable organizations.
Today Ms. Bach concentrates her practice in the areas of corporate law,
commercial transactions, entertainment law, real estate law and complex
commercial litigation. Her diverse experience includes federal and state civil
and business litigation, alternative dispute resolution (mediation,
arbitration), corporate structures and governance, banking and finance
(conventional and private equity), international business ventures, lending
practices, commercial real estate transactions, construction oversight,
entertainment project facilitation, intellectual property protection and
representation of secured creditors in reorganization proceedings.
In an effort to provide the highest level of legal expertise, Ms. Bach
frequently co-counsels with seasoned attorneys on matters requiring
specialization in legal disciplines such as trusts and estate planning, probate
litigation, immigration, tax, personal injury, intellectual property, employment
